We will be adding a tony hole to your pieces, so they can carry flowers. You will choose and create your own designs (f.e. a pup, kitty or a bird) and you will paint them with colored clay slip. I will be there to guide you through the process and provide you with tips and inspiration. After the workshop, I will fire your pieces, and you will receive them by mail.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSetup\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe workshop will take place in my cozy ceramics studio in Utrecht, and it will have a total duration of about three hours. At 10am, we will start the workshop with an introduction on sculpting animals and painting them with clay slip. I will also share techniques on how to add different details and designs to them, so you can give them your own personal touch. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAfter this, you will start creating the vases. I\u003c\/span\u003e love color and will make sure there will be lots of different colors to paint your pieces with :) I will be there to guide you in the process and provide help and assistance whenever needed. Occasionally, you will be served coffee, tea and a snack. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter the workshop, I will ask you to leave your creations in the studio. I will dry- and fire them, and once they are finished, I will ship them to your home. This will happen in approximately three weeks. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch5\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eImportant to know\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- As you will be working with clay and clay slip, make sure to wear something that can get dirty. Clay is easy to wash out, fortunately:)\u003cbr\u003e- No need to bring any additional items; everything is provided in the course. \u003cbr\u003e- The introduction will start at 10am. The studio will open at 9.45 am.\u003cbr\u003e- There will be coffee, tea and some nice snacks to enjoy\u003cbr\u003e- Cancellation is possible up until 3 days prior to the start of the course\u003cbr\u003e- After the course, it will take up to 3 weeks before you receive your creations as I will fire them first\u003cbr\u003e- Your vases will be shipped to you by mail\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e- A few days before the course, you will receive an email from me with some additional info and reminders. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch5\u003e\u003cspan\u003eGold Luster\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMany of my sculptures carry gold luster details on them, but due to technical reasons we won't be working with gold luster in the workshop. In case you would like your vases to have gold details on them, I can apply this for you afterward. This will cost an additional 7 euros for each piece.
